Blessing of the Bikes at Bald Knob Cross

Blessing of the Bikes, Sunday, May 15, 2022

On Sunday, May 15th, Bald Knob Cross of Peace will host one of the largest motorcycle events in the Midwest – the 30th Annual Blessing of the Bikes. This event is coordinated by the Christian Motorcycle Association and is a longstanding Southern Illinois tradition.

This event remains one of the largest annual events at Bald Knob Cross and is a signature event for bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts across the Midwest. In 2021, despite COVID restrictions, over 3,500 attendees were present for a socially distanced event that still featured the “Blessing of the Bikes” in smaller groups opposed to a large corporate blessing. We anticipate even greater participation this year.
