Day of Giving

Tuesday, August 4, 2020

Bald Knob Cross is standing strong and shining brightly! COVID-19 has hit us hard, and we are concerned about when this will end and what the long-term cost of this pandemic will be, but we remain infinitely hopeful because we know the cross was built “by the people,” and it will remain because of the people who love and support it.

Bald Knob Cross has lost over $50,000 revenue since the pandemic began, and we are pursuing ways to overcome the loss.

Tuesday, August 4th, is Bald Knob Cross designated Day of Giving, and we invite you to be a part of helping to keep the cross standing strong!

This will be a 24-hour campaign that will allow donors to give any amount they choose, bringing everyone together for a day in support of a shared vision for Bald Knob Cross.

Two anonymous donors have offered to MATCH your Day of Giving donation…

So the amount you give will be multiplied!

One of the most beautiful & serene places in the world. As you walk up to this majestic cross all your troubles just seem to fade away. It will always hold a special place in my heart. My Grandfather helped build it, my husband’s great-great-grandparents donated the land & my father was born in Pomona. All have passed now. But a piece of my heart belongs there.
