Envisioned after the first Easter Sunrise Service in 1937, the Bald Knob Cross of Peace was opened in 1963 and is managed by a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The Cross attracts 30,000+ annual visitors boosting the local economy for signature events such as the Easter Sunrise Service, Blessing of the Jeeps, Blessing of the Bikes, Fall Colors at the Cross, and Concerts. It has long been the goal of the organization to bring people together promoting faith, hope, love, and peace. In addition to welcoming physical visitors, the organization has a vibrant online presence reaching more than 560,000 people in 2021.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

On Saturday, August 7, 2021, Bald Knob Cross will host the nationally recognized and award-winning Christian Band, Sidewalk Prophets for a sunset concert as a part of their Great Big Family Reunion Tour. As the site offers the possibility to social distance in an outdoor venue, more than 2,000 people are expected from throughout the tri-state region of Illinois, Missouri, and Kentucky. The event offers an opportunity for businesses to be promoted to a vast audience both on-site and in pre-event marketing through press, social media, and marketing materials.
