We find ourselves in uncharted waters, as the global situation continues to unfold day by day. Our prayers go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this coronavirus.
Given the progression of quarantine the governor is recommending, we need to close the Welcome Center to the public until further notice. We will keep the grounds open daily, and individuals will be welcome to visit the grounds. But as a precaution to keep all of you safe as well as visitors, it’s best we limit our service to the public to the grounds only for now. We will determine when we can reopen as we monitor the state and federal happenings and mandates.
There is ample outdoor space so you can be present on the grounds and yet practice social distancing. For the health and safety of all involved, all recommended safety and sanitation procedures issued by the Center for Disease Control are being followed. Also in line with CDC guidelines, we ask that if you have underlying health conditions or feel ill in any way, that you refrain from visiting. We love for you to come, but we want you and everyone involved to be safe!
Also for now, both the Easter Sunrise service and the Blessing of the Bikes are scheduled to be held, as they fall outside the dates for current mandate for large group gatherings. However, as this situation unfolds, that could change, and we will post regular updates on the website and social media.
We ask that you continue praying for all of those who are at risk, our medical professionals, and those in decision-making positions. Blessings to all!
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
